Am I correct in thinking that if a font is used in an application that is not installed on the system of the user, then the programme will still function normally but with a substituted font from one of the seven Windows standard fonts?
If it is absolutely necessary to use a rare font could a zipped font file be included with the program files so that the font could be installed by the user. (Subject to copyright restrictions) _________________ DavidCbs |

Yes, your observation is correct. If a particular font used does not exist on the target machine where your program is running, then Synopsis will use the default "Microsoft Sans Serif" font. If you supply the user with a custom font then any reference to that font will become valid and will be usable from your program. |
