Automating mouse movement and clicking is a snap with Synopsis as long as you are automating Synopsis programs. I would like to be able to write a tool that would allow me to record x,y positions when I click anywhere on the screen so mouse clicks could be automated. Some apps don't have menu equivalents, and will require mousing automation.
Is this feature slated to be introduced? If not, I'd like to add it to my wish list of things to come.
Thanks |

Yes, mouse click detection is slated for the next major release. This is a feature that deals with low-level Windows OS and will likely be available as part of an advanced component set.
In the meantime, it is possible to use the "Win pos" service of the Application Interface component to know the current screen position of a target app. You can then use relative offsets to this position for placing mouse clicks.
Thanks for your inquiry.

Thank you for the advice. I will use the winpos service with relative offsets until the update.
