The send mail component in both 1.1 and 2.0 does not contain input data for username and password for the SMTP server when sending mail.
In 2.0, you have a connect service. This only seems to work with retrieving mail and not sending.
Mail host's are becoming more and more strict with regards to spam.
I have tried several ways in which to send mail, even a mail server on my pc only works 50% of the time.
Can anyone help me with this issue? |

Hi Gavin.
It's not that the Connect service of the Email Client component does not work but rather that it was not designed to do what you are trying to do.
What you need is the ability to have authentication for sending mail via the specified SMTP server.
We will look into this and see if there is a way to add this capability to the Send Mail and Email Client components. |
