Will there be any inclusion in future Synopsis updates of the ability to group objects on windows forms and globally resize them, or spread them evenly vertically or horizontally by group?
Thanks, |

It is already possible to multi-select UI components and resize them or move them at the same time. By "spread them evenly" do you mean an auto format of some sort? e.g. you select several components and then click a button that arranges them with even inter-spacing either horizontally or vertically? |

By "spread them evenly" I do in fact mean even inter-spacing either vertically or horizontally. Also the ability to select several text objects and resize them to the same exact proportions from dissimilar starting proportions is a better phrasing of what I meant in the first posting.
Thanks. |

Automatic placement with even-spacing would be a special editing feature. We'd have to look into that. Assigning the same size to several components at once would probably be best handled by an edit through the property page in multi-select mode. This is being looked into to see the best approach to providing this functionality.
Thanks for your suggestions. They will be considered to future updates. |

Spreadsheets like MS Excel have the feature that allows for multiple column select and resize to same dimensions. And NI LabView has the group select and reposition features. I realize these are specialized functions of programs that have been under development for decades, and I am anxious to see the updates already announced for Synopsis rather than GUI development frills.
Thanks for considering the suggestion. |
